A studio that starts from the music.
UMMONTE is an independent creative studio focused on music and audiovisual work, helping artists develop, produce and launch their projects. It grew from the mix of music production, filmmaking, photography, creative direction, editing, storytelling and visual design.
Many artists spend years on their craft and much less time on how it is presented. The music, the performance and the story exist. What is missing is the material that lets the right people see it. We work in that gap.
We do not want to turn artists into visually identical products. We look for the visual universe that already lives inside the music, and the style comes from the project.
Jardel Montenegro
One of the main creative forces at UMMONTE: musician, music producer, filmmaker, photographer, editor, director, sound designer and storyteller. His musical background shapes the work directly. He understands rhythm, arrangement, dynamics, performance and timbre, and turns them into editing, narrative, cinematography and visual language.
Working internationally
UMMONTE is a Brazilian studio with international experience, able to work independently and on the move. We work with artists in different countries, on tour or between projects.
